In other Strictly news, Alan Titchmarsh refuses to sign up to the BBC dancing series.

Alan said: “I’ve been asked to go on both Strictly and I’m a Celebrity [Get Me Out of Here!] and you won’t see me on either.

“I’m very flattered to have been asked, but all things considered, I’d rather sit down and watch Doc Martin.

“Which my children call ‘old fogey television’. I’m happy to be an old fogey,” he explained to Radio Times.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this year.
